Chris Mullaly

Chris Mullaly is an accomplished co-founder and Managing Partner at Spirus, leveraging over a decade of experience in investment banking / finance to deliver value to clients. With a focus on real estate, healthcare, technology and the telecommunications industries, Chris has consummated more than $30 billion in transaction volume since career inception and built relationships with leading operators and investors in the industry (incl. institutional firms, limited partners, HNW, angel investors, venture capital firms, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds, pensions, insurance companies, traditional lenders, speciality lenders, opportunistic lenders, venture lenders and other more discrete pockets of capital).

Beginning his career with Barclays Investment Bank in the Global Healthcare and Real Estate Group, Chris went on to serve as an Investor at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (“WCAS”), a private equity firm that has invested nearly $80 billion into the healthcare and technology sectors since its founding in 1979. During his tenure, Chris gained expertise in evaluating companies and structuring deals, building a strong track record of success.

Chris then took the helm as the VP/Head of Finance and acting Board Member with Emerus, a healthcare portfolio company of WCAS, where he successfully led the company through a restructuring and reorganization, demonstrating his ability to navigate complex situations with finesse. As an active Angel Investor, Board Advisor and Founder of Quantum Angels, a private investment firm that focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage telecom, healthcare, technology, AI, DeFi, IOT and social impact businesses, Chris shares his wealth of knowledge and experience with up-and-coming founders and first-time business owners, providing mentorship and guidance to help them succeed.
